Q. Are the Dartmouth images original or reprints?
A. All images available on DartmouthImages.com come from the archives of
Dartmouth College or from other source material housed throughout the Dartmouth College community.
The images are photographed or scanned and then converted to a digital format. One of two
printers we have selected creates a high quality digital reproduction--one image at a time--
based on your order. For more information, click here or click See How are Images Printed on the left navigation bar. |

Q. How do I make decisions about sizes, frames, mats and glazing?
A. You will find information on each of these important options on special
information pages on our site. For a general overview, click on Framing Help. You can also click on the
appropriate subject on the top navigation bar. In the description for each image you will find
specific information about what options are available for that particular image. |

Q. What is a NoFrame?
A. DartmouthImages.com has developed a special display solution that provides a great look at an inexpensive price. We call this option, NoFrame.
Your image selection will be dry mounted on 3/16th Black Gatorfoam ® and cut to fit your image. Gatorfoam is strong enough so that it will not warp, bend or break during shipment and will hold its shape when it is hung on your wall utilizing the plastic hanging device attached to the back. For more detailed information click here NoFrame or on the top navigation bar. |

A. You can change your order, remove an image from your cart or cancel the
entire order at any time during your shopping trip. However, once you click "Submit Order"
instructions are sent automatically to our printer and framer as appropriate and the fulfillment process is underway.
Please review your order in detail before you click "Submit Order" because once we start,
the order cannot be stopped.
However, you are always protected by the DartmouthImages.com Guarantee and by our Return/Exchange
policy. |

image or you can return any purchase; however, our images are created specifically for you and are subject to a re-stocking fee of $25.00 per item. Please review our Guarantee and Exchange/Return policies by clicking here or clicking the appropriate button under Customer Services. |

Q. Is shopping at DartmouthImages.com secure and safe?
A. You can be sure you are shopping safely when you purchase from
DartmouthImages.com. Security is provided by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption, which we
believe is one of the best Internet technologies available for secure transactions. Your
credit card transaction is totally encrypted for safety; encryption means that the
characters you enter into the computer are converted to coded data that is then transmitted
over the Internet. So, while you are on our site you should have no fear of theft of your
name, personal information or credit card number. You can check to see that SSL is actually
working by looking at the code at the top of your browser-- it will change from http/ to https/. Also, you will
see a closed lock or key (depending on your browser) in the lower right hand side of your
screen when, and only when, you are connected to a secure server.
In order to protect yourself and to monitor your purchases, you should print the
transaction screen at Checkout so that you will have a record to check against your credit
card billing. This print out will also help if you need to return or exchange an
item.
One caution: email is not secure over the Internet, so do not put
private or privileged information in your email messages. |

However, we want you to know that you are in control of the specific information we
use and how we use it. You can opt in or opt out of any of our programs by contacting us by
telephone, mail, fax or email. We will, in each case, respect your wishes. |
