At DartmouthImages.com each image can be custom framed to your specification.
We use the highest quality, most durable framing materials. Each length of frame moulding
is inspected and then custom-cut as required for the paper size and mat that you select.
Our Acrylite ® covering is then cut to provide the best protection for the finished

Below you will find information about each framing option. These options were chosen
because they are the most requested and appropriate frames for the type of images we offer.
There are fancier frames and a greater variety of sizes and colors in local framing stores; however, DartmouthImages.com has chosen to offer a pre-selected group of frames because they will
satisfy virtually all of our customers' requirements-- at a price that is affordable and very
competitive.
Wood Frames
DartmouthImages.com offers wood frames imported from Italy. Frames are 1 inch wide and ˝ inch
deep. Each frame is made from a furniture-grade hardwood and is finished with a
furniture-grade stain. Colors available include black, light walnut, dark walnut, mahogany
and ash. Our hanging system uses strap hangars and heavy-duty coated picture wire. Felt
bumpers are affixed on all frames to protect the frame and the hanging surface.
Aluminum Frames
All DartmouthImages.com metal frames are manufactured by Nielsen and are constructed of
extruded aluminum. Frames are 1 inch deep and have a 9/32nd inch rounded edge. Corners are
secured with a back plate and tapped corner for extra durability and stability. Spring clips
hold the dry mounted image, the mat and the Acrylite sheet to make your custom frame firm
and square. Our hanging system includes snap hangars and heavy-duty coated picture wire.
Felt bumpers are affixed on all frames to protect the frame and the hanging surface.
You may select either a glossy finish or a matte finish for your Nielsen frame in black, gold or
silver.
