DartmouthImages.com offers images in three paper sizes: 8 x 10, 11 x 17 and 18 x 24. We have selected these three sizes so one will suit almost any display area: an intimate nook, a wall with other memorabilia or a high-ceilinged second home.  Our editors have examined each image and, consequently, we only offer images in the sizes that are appropriate for the image itself.

Each size is the measurement of the paper on which the image is printed. The actual image will, most often, be smaller than the paper size and some of the images may have a border that is an integral part of the image itself. The representation of each image on the website is a reasonable depiction of how the image relates to the mat and frame.

When your image is dry mounted, matted and framed, the dimension of the finished product will vary with the image size you have selected. The finished framed and matted dimension will be approximately as follows: 

You may choose to have your image framed without a mat. An unmated, but framed image is often an attractive solution, particularly for the 18 x 24 posters. If you choose this no mat option, the paper dimensions will generally increase by the width of the frame selected and the finished size will generally be as follows:

If you select NoFrame, the finished product will be 8 x 10, 11 x 17 or 18 x 24, the same as the paper size. 

All DartmouthImages.com prices are based upon image size. As long as you stay within the same size, every unframed image is the same price; every NoFrame is the same price and the framed price is the same, regardless of the specific frame and mat you select.
