At DartmouthImages.com each image can be custom framed, except for the 18x24 size.

We use the highest quality, most durable framing materials. Each length of framing material is inspected and then custom-cut as required for the image size and mat that you have selected.

Below you will find information about each framing option. These options were chosen because they are the most requested and appropriate frames for the type of images offered by DartmouthImages.com. There are fancier frames and a greater variety of sizes and colors in local framing stores; however, DartmouthImages.com has chosen to offer a pre-selected, limited group of frames in order to satisfy virtually all of our customers' requirements-- at a price that is affordable and very competitive with online and local framers.

Wood Frames

DartmouthImages.com offers wood frames imported from Italy. Frames are approximately 1.25 inches wide and .5 inches deep with a simple, straight-line design. These frames will allow the selected images to stand out as the most important element.  These frames will work in most decors, without taking away from the look contributed by the art itself.

Each frame is made from a furniture-grade hardwood and is finished with a furniture-grade stain. Colors available in straight-line frames include Black, Maple, Espresso, Silver and Sierra. In addition, Studio Gold and Arena offer different profiles in the most popular colors. Felt bumpers are affixed on all frames to protect the frame and the hanging surface.

Each wood frame purchase has, as a standard, clear glazing to protect your image from the elements.
