Step-by-Step guide to Selecting Your Image and getting it framed!

Select a general area of images that might interest you. You can find your area of interest through the Search function at the top right corner of the site or just click on a department listing on the top navigation bar of the website.

All of the Sub-categories available in the selected area of interestwill appear at the top of the website. Click on a Sub-category that catches your fancy.

All of the individual items in the selected Sub-category will appear and you can view them until you see the particular image that you might want to purchase. Click on that item and you are ready to view some options and make some decisions.

1. Size is the first decision you will make. All images are printed on 9x12", 11x17", 16x20" or 18x24" paper. (For more information, click Sizing on the footer listings). At DartmouthImages.com all decisions and prices are based on the size of the image you select. When you click on a size, the price for the image, matted and framed will appear in the Pricing Box on the Product Page.. The price will change each time you make a selection—although all frames and all mats are the same price regardless of color or shape. If you change size after making decisions on frames or mats, the programming system assumes that you wish to retain your selections, but only change sizes.
2. Frame color and style come next. You select any frame and the image will reflect how the new selection will look—all frames are the same price. All frames come with a clear glazing and our exclusive Level-Lock hanging solution.
3. Mat selection is next.You have four choices of mat color, all at the same price. You can also choose to frame your image without a mat.
4. Glazing is where you have the option of upgrading from our standard clear material to add protection against UV rays or to protect against distortion with a non-glare material. You can select one or the other for a modest additional charge. Of course, you can opt to stay with the standard glazing that comes with any DartmouthImages frame solution.

You can then change and view every different frame and/or mat combination. Simply click on different options and the image will change to show your new selections. You may view and review different combinations--until you are satisfied. When you have settled on what works best for the image you have selected you will see the price displayed. Then click Add to Cart If none of the framing options appeal to you or if framing is not offered for the size image you have selected, you can click on the Unframed Print option. You will then see how the image looks without a mat or frame; the price will also change to reflect this option.

You can always Continue Shopping by selecting another Category or another Sub-category or another image. You can complete your shopping trip at any time by going to Checkout.

As you review your purchases, shipping and handling charges will be displayed. You will have the opportunity to Confirm your selection. Once you are sure that all of the details are approved and your instructions on payment and shipping are entered, you will Submit you order. Since the order requires fulfillment according to your specifications, your credit card will be charged at the time you Submit.
